Writing and directing Reverie has been a deeply personal and rewarding experience. I approached telling this story, partly inspired by my grandparents, with sensitivity so as to ecapsulate the history and connection between two loving, albeit absent and vulnerable, individuals. I have learned a lot from my first time directing fiction and am so proud of the commitment of the cast and crew who have brought this story of love, loss and memory to life. I'm excited for audiences to see the final product!

I organised both cast and crew to ensure that there is a clear timeline for pre-production, filming and editing. This means having a schedule of what needs filmed and what would be the best way around this.  Ensuring that call times are early enough so that everything can be covered on the day, and that I am keeping crew on schedule during the day. Afterwards,  i ensure that the edit is on a clear timeline and continue to communicate with actors after filming so that they are aware of what is ready and when they can expect to see a final film!
